I knew I could write erotic fiction for
Brown Skin Books because my friends tell me that I've got
a big mouth! Apparently, I'm good at telling stories.
I read a lot of books,
particularly erotic anthologies and so I started thinking of the
characters I wanted in my novel and, especially, what they look
like (I’m so shallow!). I looked through magazines until I
settled on the appropriate face or body, then I cut out photos and
stuck them in a notebook with the names I’d chosen. I added
details of age, job, background, friends, parents, favourite music,
food, pets, dislikes and personality. As the cast came together,
that’s when the story began to form. I didn’t set out
intending to write a sex scene every so many pages. They just happened
naturally – I suppose when I was in the mood. Sex is fun in
my novel and in my life, so it was fun to write.
To make life a lot easier, I bought
a dictating machine and just spoke into it. I found that the easiest
way to 'write'. And you can do it in bed!
Since Body and Soul was first published, I've had so many of you asking
about Eddy, that I've decided to tell all - or as much as I dare! So if you really want to know,
